THE ART OF MAKING YOUR KITCHEN UNIQUE!

At Cuisines Steam, we celebrate our passion for kitchens through innovation and the desire to constantly surpass ourselves!

Cabinets play an essential role in the aesthetics of the kitchen, and our mission is to help you make the right choices for your space and make your kitchen the room that sets the tone for the rest of the house. When the time comes to start thinking about design, we often hear about wood veneer, acrylic, polyester, thermoplastic, lacquer and so on. But did you know that there are endless possibilities to explore in order to make your kitchen unique?

Here are a few examples of materials that will add a refined touch to your kitchen and design.

METAL

Have you ever thought of using metal on your facades? Yes, it is an option!

Whether it’s stainless steel, raw stainless steel, brass or copper, all these metal choices will add an elegant touch to your kitchen's design. However, when we opt for metal fronts, there are different elements to think about. With or without varnish, brushed or sandblasted, and the manufacturing/construction method is not to be overlooked here if you want a well-executed job.

PAINTED METAL

After noble metals, it's time for powder-coated metal! Offering an infinite palette of vibrant colors and a variety of unique finishes, powder-coated metal is sure to enhance your space. Whether you're looking for a more industrial, modern look or a more playful touch, painted metal is definitely an option to consider!

PORCELAIN ON LACQUER

Often used on islands, lacquer and porcelain are the perfect duo for those who want to make their island the focal point of the kitchen! In this case, the lacquer simply acts as a substrate for the porcelain, that is applied directly to the lacquer. While this option may seem simple to explain, it's a process that requires a great deal of skill and meticulous work to achieve an outstanding result. Whether it's Laminam, Neolith or other brands, you'll have a multitude of choices for your countertop and facade cladding, which will be matched to create a monolithic block. With this choice of cladding, you're sure to have an original kitchen with character!

frosted glass on lacquer

Frosted glass on lacquer will charm you with the richness and depth it brings to a kitchen! Once again, lacquer acts as a substrate for the frosted glass. Some may ask, why apply frosted glass over lacquer? If you're looking to create depth in lacquer, then you've got your answer! The frosted glass also adds a soft touch and visual appeal.

DETAILS ON LACQUER FRONTS

With its infinite choice of colors and finishes, lacquer is a very interesting and versatile option. It allows a multitude of choices when it comes to styling. A shaker, a v-groove, a double v-groove or even patterns that imitate tile. Let your imagination run wild when it comes to lacquer!

ADDING integrated HANDLES

Why not use a custom handle to enhance the look of your cabinets? A flush-mounted handle will undoubtedly give your kitchen a sophisticated design. Whether it be the shape, color or material, the options are limitless. Rectangle, round, half-moon and more! When it comes to materials - wood, lacquer, metal - anything's possible! Looking for something more playful? Why not choose a different color for the interior of the handle? Looking for a more chic version? Copper or brass is the ideal solution.
